About Us
Farewell combines a mobile app and website into one system: the app is where users prepare and manage private content; the website is where memorial pages can be discovered, viewed, shared, and managed from a larger screen.
The Farewell app is the private workspace. Users can check in, record memories, prepare legacy content, manage trusted contacts, and control account settings from their own device.
Guardian check-ins help notice prolonged silence. The system uses reminders and trusted contacts before any sensitive release flow begins.
Users can save personal memories in the app. The website can later provide a larger-screen workspace for reviewing and editing memories that already exist in the user account.
The website is the public-facing side of Farewell. It supports memorial discovery, recent public memorial pages, and a separate creation flow for building a memorial page for someone else.
Legacy tools help users prepare private messages, recipient instructions, and protected files. These areas require login and are separated from public memorial content.
User-only workspaces require sign-in. Public discovery pages remain available for visitors, while editing, creation, and account management stay protected.
